Do we have to have someone to share our lives with? Is it absolutely necessary? Is it worth all the pain and often misery? Is it? I ask you. Is it? The answer is yes. People, and i don't care who they are, all people need well...people. We were no created to exist alone. I will not get into religion and theology right now because it is not where i want to go. But i truly believe that some innate manifestation in us, call it a chemical imbalance, a disease, a trick of genes and DNA, call it what you will, it is the insatiable desire that humans have to share their lives with someone else. Look at animals, some mate for life, some change mates with season, but always there is that contact. And we are truly fooling ourselves if we think that we are so much better than the animals. for I do not see them wage war on each other senselessly. But yes truly we are connected to the people we...encounter. Every single one of them pays some role, no matter how small or insignificant, in our lives. I do not claim to be scholar so do not quote me, but as to the question can we live without ...people. I say no. It was not meant to be as such.
