Individuality. as is. Rebels. They, in trying to be different, have created their own clique. Which of course is everything the don't want. This problem has plagued me of late. Far from being a rebel (I have never had any desire to break rules and destroy authority. While I do enjoy proving my superiority in politics and intellect, i am content to let them to let them keep their weak holds on power), I have always considered myself a non-conformist. Until now. i began to think. Punk, Rebel, Skater, Prep, Jock, Geek, Dork, Outcast, and even Non-conformists; once someone is give a tile, they become what they have been named. Even the ones who consider themselves different are all the same. Not in an individual sense of course, all people have different thoughts, but they seem to surrender part of their individuality once they let themselves be named, given a title. They Don't comprehend that even if you name yourself in one of the "Radical" groups, the ones that are so different than everybody else, than you are still a stereotype. You surrender. Sooner or later, if you name yourself, it will become a clique. Only in not letting yourself be named, branded, titled, trapped, that is truly individuality. But don't try to be different because then you become predictable. Instead, be yourself. Make your own decisions. If these decisions lead you to follow the "Preps" or the "Jocks", so be it. Your next choice may land you among the "Outcasts", the "Rebels", the "Punks". Walk a path of your own choosing, not one decided by what other people do or think. In this way, and this is the only way, you will become not a "Punk" or a "Prep", not a "Jock" or an "Outcast", not a "Freak" or an "Outcast". In this way you will become yourself.
